Too Much To Discuss For a Pithy Headline... Read On!

Somebody call the cops or someone else in authority! It's just been brought to my attention that something called, "Christmas" is, literally, only a few calendar clicks away. I am shocked, not to mention appalled, that this freaking holiday has again crept up on me! It's still reasonably warm out, there's no snow in the forecast, I'm pretty sure I just watched the World Series on TV... Oh yeah, I guess I also watched the Grey Cup on TV last night (put a stake in my Rider heart why don't you, Montreal?) so maybe it shouldn't be that much of a surprise but still...

Computer Meltdown Shackles Newsletter Writer! The Horror, The Horror... Oh, And Shows Etc. Etc.

I'm sure at least some of you have been waiting to get my impressions of what went down at our place on the night of November 11th. Perhaps the picture above will give you some idea, hahaha... This shot was taken in the dressing room after the show came off without a hitch, astonishingly!

Date Alert!

As was pointed out to me by a sharp-eyed, and calendar-conversant reader, the date for the aforementioned MacKenzie Project/Ennis show is November 10th NOT November 12th. Honestly... Sorry to clog your inbox with my mistakes...

The same reader also pointed out - being as how November 11th is, for many people, a "holiday" - that the oft-used, "well I'd love to come but I have work in the morning," excuse won't wash in this case!

Thank you loyal reader.

An Award? Us? Aw Shucks... - Some Show Reminders and Random Thoughts...

An Award! Sheesh...

Whew, I'm just back from a whirlwind trip to the micropolis of Yarmouth for the annual Nova Scotia Music Week celebrations and awards wing-dings. It was a short but mighty sojourn. I've got to hand it to the Yarmouthians, they rose to the occasion and packed out the showcase venues and sold out the awards gala on Sunday night. Really nice to see a town get behind an event like this!

Dave Carroll - Linda Brooks Adds 2nd Show - Cuddy/Keelor Ticket Draw Info - Upcoming Shows & Some New Show Announcements

Before I launch into disseminating all the information necessary in this newsletter, I'd just like to take a moment to reflect on the horrible events of last week...

Lennie Gallant Adds Third Carleton Show - Important Show Announcements - Some More Thoughts on The Keelor/Cuddy Thing

When I finally get around to writing that book everyone keeps telling me to write, I'm going to need a whole chapter on this Jim Cuddy/Greg Keelor gig we're doing on November 11th. Honestly, it's much loonier than any of you will ever know. However, at the end of this newsletter - for those of you who are interested - I'll let you in on some of the funnier stuff...

Ray Bonneville!!! A Stoopid Mistake and Some Keelor/Cuddy Observations...

So, it's been quite a loony few days dealing with the Keelor/Cuddy announcement fall-out. So goofy, in fact, that I'd almost forgotten that Ray Bonneville is playing our place tonight - Monday, October 19th - AND I was shocked to see in the book that this show is not already sold out.. A travesty, I say!
