The Carleton is more than pleased to announce that incendiary Celtic fiddler, Ashley MacIsaac, will be appearing on our stage for two energy-charged shows on Sunday, May 3rd and Monday, May 4th.

Submitted by mike_campbell on Wed, 04/01/2009 - 15:22.April Fool's arrived a day early by way of a completely demoralizing snowstorm and I'm hoping that, having had the last laugh, winter will finally piss off into the sunset (or wherever seasons that have outstayed their welcomes go) and that we can look forward to some warmth and some good news for a change. I do know that - at least on City Hall's books - it's almost patio season and we've got to start trying to remember how to reassemble our beautiful deck. Never fear, we'll figure it out.

Well, we somehow managed to make it through another media-driven "Storm of the Century" episode in Halifax last night and The Carleton was a room in love with its headline performer, the amazingly talented Danny Michel. It's been too long since Danny was last here and the thunderous applause following the end of his second set aptly punctuated that fact.
Matt Mays' Show Tonight (Sunday, February 22nd) Has Been CANCELLED!
Submitted by mike_campbell on Sun, 02/22/2009 - 17:48.Tonight's Matt Mays show has been cancelled. It is now rescheduled for Tuesday, February 24th. All tickets and dinner reservations for Sunday's cancelled show will be honoured on Tuesday. Show time (9 PM) remains the same.
Matt and The Carleton regret any inconvenience this cancellation has caused. If you are unable to use your tickets for Tuesday night, for any reason, we will be happy to refund your money.
Important Matt Mays Announcement!!!!

2 Musical Giants at The Carleton This Month - Don't Snooze and Lose!

Not only did the underdog Cardinals not pull off the epic upset of the Steelers in the Super Bowl but it also looks like - according to the weather news this morning - the predicted balmy weather we were supposed to get this week isn't going to materialize. To add insult to that disappointment, the original prediction has been replaced with a "weather warning" about yet another snowstorm for tomorrow.
