We’ve decided – for a lot of reasons – that we’re not going to be doing a show on New Year’s Eve this year. BUT that doesn’t mean we’re not planning on making a statement with our last show of the year… Having just recently “discovered” this “new” band a couple of weeks ago, we thought it would be a great idea to feature them as our last act of 2016. The Blue Lane will play The Carleton on Friday, December 30th. Show time will be 9ish PM and admission is FREE. Yes, that’s right, FREE because we think you need to hear them…

We think the band is as cool as their sound, a mix of jazz, pop, rock, damned near anything cool stylistically… George Benson, Dire Straits, Stray Cats… we think they could probably play anything if they wanted to. Sounds cool – there’s that word again – right? Do yourself a favour and come out to see for yourself. We don’t suck at judging talent.
