Ex-Royal Streets frontman Algernon Friolet’s new project, Flowers For Daniel, makes its Carleton debut with help from Saint John’s Adam Washburn Band and local Hannah MacMillan, on Sunday, December 10th. Show time is 8 PM and admission is $10 at the door.

What started as a solo acoustic project by singer/songwriter Algernon Friolet in 2015, Flowers for Daniel, has since morphed into a 4-piece alt-rock act consisting of members Jay Hogle (Bass), Cody Hache (Drums), and Jesse Wiseman (Cello).

With this new collective, Friolet (former frontman of The Royal Streets), blends clean intros and unique verses with infectious hooks that ultimately lead to energetic finishes. While the overall sound is a reflection of different influences within the band, fans of Friolet’s trademark vocals and playing style will not be disappointed.

The band recently released their debut EP, Smoke Signals, available for purchase through iTunes.

Adam Washburn is a singer/songwriter from Saint John, NB. His first full-length album, Lift Me up, was recorded with Dale Murray at Come Undone Records. It was written during Adam’s time living in Halifax, NS.
