Guitarist extraordinaire Garrett Mason returns to The Carleton, along with Dartmouth up-and-comers Stand Back for a rocking show on Friday, November 9th. Garrett will kick off the night at 10 PM. Admission is only $10 at the door!

One of the acknowledged best guitarists in the country (with a Blues Juno Award already under his belt), Garrett Mason likes to stay close to home and we’re always happy when he makes an appearance at The Carleton. Whether he’s delicately finger-picking or wailing away, the man sure can play!

Stylish guitar riffs, a grooving blues-rock rhythm section, and the versatility of three lead vocalists all combine to form Stand Back’s unique sonic identity – a fusion of rock, blues, pop, and folk music that can only be classified as Canadiana. The lineup consists of Jacob Ballard on guitar and keys, Ben Matthews on Bass, and Aidan Coady on drums, with all three supplying their own distinct vocals and songwriting.

 A dynamic modern-day jam band, Stand Back has been cutting their teeth and gaining fans the old fashioned way – one kickass show at a time.
