Newfoundland’s Sherman Downey makes the trek from his native island for a solo show at The Carleton on Wednesday, April 12th. Show time is 8 PM and tickets are $15.

Sherman is one of Newfoundland’s best songwriters and as entertaining and engaging a performer as you’re likely to see this side of Steve Poltz. His previous band, The Ambiguous Case, won a whack of awards, including the CBC’s initial Searchlight competition. That outfit has played The Carleton on numerous occasions and we’re looking forward to Sherman’s solo outing this time around!
