Fredericton’s latest kick-ass exports The Hypochondriacs with assistance from local Cameron Nickerson team up for a show at The Carleton on Friday, June 15th. Show time is 10 PM and admission is $10 at the door.

Hailing from Fredericton, NB, this four piece powerhouse is taking Eastern Canada by storm with their high octane live show; prolific heartfelt ballads, and superb musicianship. A much needed whiskey shot in the arm for a new generation raised on Corporate radio and Walmart Country.

Lead by tbrothers Josh Bravener (singer songwriter/guitar) and Aaron Bravener (drums/vocals); along with the stunning Justine Koroscil (vocals/percussion) and seasoned bass player Jamie Guitar, the HYPOCHONDRIACS have resurrected from the traditional country crypt a fresh and raw take on the standard genre. Though profoundly influenced by the likes of George Jones, Hank Williams and Johnny Cash, through further inspection one will hear early Memphis rockabilly all the way up to the ’80s cowpunk movement…. Brace for impact!

With Bluegrass roots to branches of Rock ‘n Roll, Americana and folk music, signer songwriter Cameron Nickerson, incorporates a mixture of it all.

A life-long music career from bands like The Rockabillys, sharing the stage with The Stanfields and The Sheepdogs, this is Cameron’s first ride on the solo train. Already in and out of the studio working on a full length debut album with hand picked songs selected from the old broken days and new songs of his new changed ways, The first single off the album, “Jeremiah” has garnered radio airplay across Canada, As the debut album “Detours” was released January 26th 2018
