Addi John (former lead singer/guitarist of London-based indie darlings Lost In Japan) makes his first foray to Halifax with a duo show at The Carleton on Sunday, August 9th. Addi’s strong songwriting is evident in his extensive collection of diverse songs. From intimate finger-picking songs to full-blown rock bangers, you want to scream with your friends on a road trip. Addi ensures that the songs he is writing or co-writing always capture the essence of who we really are underneath everything else. After years of touring with his former project “Lost in Japan”, a multi-award-winning band with millions of streams, Addi John began producing his music, along with producing countless other musicians. This landed Addi a nomination for the FCLMA “Producer of the Year.” His minimalist approach to producing and songwriting portrays a familiar feeling that makes listeners instantly connect with his songs.

He has toured both nationally and internationally, from a cross-Canada tour, to performing in various venues and cities across Europe, the UK & Asia.
