After many years, Torontonian Deon Blyan returns to The Carleton with on Thursday, August 6th for a 2-set night showcasing his brand of songs inspired by the musical foundations laid by the greats of the late 70s. The warm tones filled with hook-laden melodies that Deon has become known for will take shape with the help of a band of local musicians (Luke Levy – Lead Guitar, Calen Kinney – Fiddle, Nick Patterson – Bass Guitar, Jordan Bruleigh – drums, David Campbell from The Ordeals – pedal steel guitar and Sam Fraser – keyboard). Show time is 7:30 PM and tickets are $18 + HST.
