The Carleton is pleased to present The Road to Giantstock… a very special pairing of two Nova Scotia singer-songwriters who perform throughout North America and are returning home in anticipation of this fall’s Giantstock Festival. Join Josée Champoux and Andre Pettipas as they trade songs, stories and laughs, bringing fun energy and a country rock sound. The music gets underway at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, September 2nd with tickets a modest $20 +HST.

Josée Champoux is a powerhouse singer-songwriter from Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Blending the twang of country with the grit of rock, Josée’s sound is infused with the kind of sincerity and storytelling that only an East Coast songwriter can deliver. With a voice that’s both strong and commanding, Josée effortlessly captures her audience’s attention. Andre Pettipas is best known as the charismatic frontman of the rock group, Andre Pettipas and The Giants. With a relentless passion for live music, Andre performs over 130 shows+ yearly captivating audiences from coast to coast. He is the ‘26 ECMA Entertainer Of The Year. Andre is also a dedicated community builder. He is the driving force behind Giantstock, an annual festival held in Merigomish, Nova Scotia. Through this event, he provides a platform for emerging artists and fosters a sense of unity through music. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, Andre Pettipas brings authenticity, creativity, and an undeniable love for entertaining.
