On Sunday, November 2nd, join AfterWords at The Carleton for readings with David A. Robertson in conversation with Jesse Wente, about Robertson’s powerful new book All the Little Monsters: How I Learned to Live with Anxiety. Wente (Unreconciled) and Robertson are two leading Indigenous writers/thinkers, and this conversation is sure to be rich and rewarding. Brunch is included in your ticket price!

Doors open at 10:30 AM and the event begins at 11:00 AM with brunch service throughout. Your ticket includes admission and one dish from our outstanding brunch menu. David A. Robertson is a writer for children and adults, podcaster, public speaker, and social advocate. He is a member of Norway House Cree Nation and lives in Winnipeg.

Born and raised in Toronto, Jesse Wente’s family comes from Chicago and Genaabaajing Anishinaabek and he is an off-reserve member of the Serpent River First Nation. His award-winning first book Unreconciled: Family, Truth and Indigenous Resistance was a national bestseller. His first children’s book, Danger Eagle, is published by Tundra Books.
