Dartmouth-based band Esdaile, along with guest Fiona Clancey, return to deliver a special unplugged performance at The Carleton on Saturday, July 18th. Show time is 8 PM and tickets are $20 + HST.

In late August of 2024, Esdaile formed,  putting together a new sound for the ears of listeners in the Dartmouth/Halifax area. The four boys (Colin, Ian, Leo, Keegan) translated their inseparable connection into a sound that people resonate with. From their first show, which took place in the heart of downtown Dartmouth, a promising beginning emerged for the up and coming group. 

With deep roots in the connection to local heritage, taking in the moments that make us human, and the love of good friends and family, esdaile combines the raw confluence of a spoken tale and warm analog sound, creating a style of unapologetic authenticity.

Raised in a house where music was always playing, folk-pop singer-songwriter Fiona Clancey hails from the heart of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Drawing inspiration from artists like John Prine, Phoebe Bridgers, Lizzy McAlpine, and the Avett Brothers, Fiona’s sound is dreamy with a side of Maritime charm. With a degree in classical voice, her strong vocal ability is evident through soaring melodies, a bright tone, and impressive control.
