This year marks the 9th anniversary of beloved musician Jay Smith’s untimely death. Thanks to the lifting of restrictions we’ve all been suffering through, we’re thrilled to announce that a Celebration of the Life and Music of Jay Smith, in support of the Unison Benevolent Fund, will happen at The Carleton on Sunday, April 3rd. Show time is 7 PM and tickets for this very worthy cause are $42.50 + HST.

The evening will start with several artists singing acoustic “letters to Jay,” followed by a song by song recreation of Jay’s solo album, played by bandmates from Rock Ranger and El Torpedo, with a raft of guest vocalists. The night will wrap with a performance by his Rock Ranger band-mates and an all star jam of some of Jay’s favourite songs. In short, like the man himself, it will rock!
