The Carletones members are mostly in St. John’s this for the ECMAs this Saturday night so we’ve got the equally rocking – and entertaining – Rollie & The Navy Brats filling in at The Carleton on Saturday, April 11th. The lads will start bashing out the rock’n’roll at around 10 PM and it’s – as usual – only $5 at the door to get in.

Once upon a time, not so long ago, there were a handful of bands in Halifax that could sell out The Marquee Club and King Konqueror was one of those. Flash forward a few years and Steve Rolston and Mike Adams from KK, along with Dave Marsh (Joel Plaskett Emergency, The True Love Rules) and Paul Boudreau (Cool Blue Halo) have put together a party band – Rollie & The Navy Brats – that rivals KK back in the day. They don’t play often, at least not outside of Dartmouth, so we’re damned happy they’re at The Carleton this week!
