Happy Hour At The Carleton – Music By Adam Baxter

  • July 2, 2019
    4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Newfoundland’s Adam Baxter returns to Halifax to take part in our Dinner At The Carleton series as a send-off for his national tour on Tuesday, July 2nd. Show time is 4 PM  – ahead of Gordie Sampson’s sold out show – and, as always with this initiative, admission is FREE.

Adam Baxter is a powerhouse of energetic, explosive creativity. With the aggressiveness of a Rock and Roller and the sensibilities of a Folk musician, Adams’ music stretches across multiple genres to provide a compulsive mix of high energy and sweet longing.

His newest album, Domestic, is an atmospheric exploration of relationships and the complexities of life. This album takes a turn from previous projects. Adam steps into a new phase of songwriting, combining his punk, folk, and classical roots into a new and ambitious sound.

Raised in Nova Scotia and developed in Newfoundland, Adam is moving in his scope of influence and shaping lives around him. This world is full of new opportunities, and Adam means to seize those that he is able.
