2020 is all about using nostalgic entertainment to escape reality, right?! Well, now you can join us at The Carleton on Saturday, October 3rd, to watch a group of Halifax’s meanest actors breath sweet, alcoholic life back into the most important film of our generation: MEAN GIRLS. Show time is 7 PM and advanced tickets are only $10.

9 of your favourite local plastics will be onstage reading the script out loud. You will be in the audience. There will be drinks (table service, baby!)! You wanna have some drinks? Go for it, it’s been a rough year, you deserve it. You wanna see your performers get a little sloppy? GREAT. The audience will be able to buy drinks and send them to the performers to get them right to that level of drunken fun that a live read of Mean Girls deserves. (Though, the performers will set their own limit for how many drinks they can handle. The limit does, in fact, exist. #safetyfirst!)
We will be announcing our fabulous cast as the performance date approaches!
We’ll be donating all funds we raise from this event to the Halifax Sexual Health Centre! (They’re not affiliated with the event, but we do think they’re awesome!)
