Repartee + Arsoniste

On the occasion of the release of their debut album – All Lit Up – hot-as-a-pistol St. John’s electro-pop band Repartee makes its way back to The Carleton for a show Tuesday, May 3rd. Show time is 8 PM and it’ll be $10 cash at the door to get in on the fun. Support on the night will be provided by Rachel Sunter’s Arsoniste!


Since releasing their first EP in 2010 to a sold-out crowd at The Ship in St. John’s, NL, Repartee have been actively touring the country, showcasing at Halifax Pop Explosion, Canadian Music Week and the ECMAs. They’ve been named The Newfoundland Herald’s Band to Watch as well as The Scope’s Best New Band and Best Pop Band, and they’ve shared the stage with the likes of Tegan and Sara, Dragonette, Arkells, LIGHTS, The Paints of Being Pure at Heart, and more.


In 2012, they won all five MusicNL Awards for which they were nominated. In 2013 they were nominated for an East Coast Music Award for Rising Star Recording of the Year and also performed at the 2013 ECMA Gala. Their newer material recently received placements in MTV’s AwkwardFinding Carter and Becoming Us.
