Leona Burkey brings her annual Shine Blue show in support ofAutism Nova Scotia to The Carleton on Thursday, February 17th for an evening celebrating neuro-diversity, acceptance and inclusion. Leona’s song, Wave Theory (2015) about living with an autistic son, inspired these shows and thousands of dollars have been raised over the years for this incredible organization. Shine Blue 2021 will feature originals Jon Cornwall and David Bradshaw, along with Tyler Cox (Mahogany Hollow) and the uniquely talented Gabriel Minnikin, plus some special guests.
Thanks to the generosity of our performers, ALL PROCEEDS from ticket sales go to Autism Nova Scotia. Show time is 7 PM and tickets are $20 + HST. Admission includes a physical copy of Leona’s latest album, Sitting Tight, nominated for Music Nova Scotia’s Americana Recording of the Year. Shine On!
