Niagara, Ontario’s hot, hot, hot Xprime – along with local faves Floodland – move into The Carleton on Friday, October 2nd for a fun night of live music. Show time is 8 PM and it’s only $5 at the door to get in on the action.

XprimeBW

Fresh off playing OSHEAGA and EDGEFEST, Xprime delivers the kind of rock-pop songs you want to sing and dance to, packed in an explosive performances. They’ve made a name – and a living – for themselves by playing their original music and beloved classics all over Ontario and Quebec. Weaving their way through harmonies, fancy fretwork and beats with loop-de-loop rollercoaster ease, it’s safe to say that the guys – Phil Taylor (drums), Gab Sid (keys/guitar/vocals), Steph Mercier (guitar/vocals) and Neil Carson (bass/vocals) – know their way around a well-written pop/rock song, and their new EP “PM” (released with eOne Music Canada) is a delicious sampling of just that. Xprime is touring all over Central & Eastern Canada this Fall with their brand new record to convert even the skeptics into fans.

Floodland

Floodland is a perfect addition to this excellent Friday night bill. Two great bands with lots of originals and cool-as-hell covers. We’re very much looking forward to the night!
