NEW DATE: Brad’s January 9th show has been bumped to January 23rd in response to the extended COVID-19 restrictions in Halifax. All January 9th tickets will be honoured on this new date.
After selling out his November show, Cape Breton-style fiddler Brad Reid celebrates the release of his NEW Scotland album (recorded at Joel Plaskett’s New Scotland Yard studio, natch) in the new year with a full band matinée at The Carleton on Saturday, January 23rd. Show time is 2 PM. Show-only tickets are $20. There is also a show + a copy of the new CD option for $40.
“NEW Scotland” offers 10 brand spanking new original tracks like Trip to Peggy’s Cove and Northumberland Shores, and 4 traditional sets. He’ll be joined in quartet format by long time member of the Barra MacNeils, double bassist Jamie Gatti; on percussion, former drummer for both the Barra MacNeils and Natalie MacMaster, Tom Roach; with James MacLean on guitar.
