Musical partners Campbell & Johnston – Christine and Blake respectively – winners of the 2022 ECMA for Blues Recording of the Year, make their first appearance of 2023 at The Carleton on Friday, January 13th. Show time is 8 PM and tickets are $25 + HST.
Halifax Blues-Rock power duo, Campbell & Johnston have been building a name for themselves, entertaining audiences with their soulful tone, 60’s & 70s rock style guitar riffs & bewitching vocal harmonies, and opening up for some big names, like Burton Cummings, Steve Earle & Bob Seger.
On May 20th 2021, they released their self titled EP, Campbell & Johnston’s Black Market Band, produced by Johnston himself, and adds a touch of their old school rock influences with a modern twist on blues and soul.
