*** Thanks to everyone who rallied round the repackaging of the Gunning-Cormier Christmas shows.  These are such special evenings – and between the refunds and the date switches and the stalwarts, we were all set to present 5 shows with social distancing.  Then another last minute curve ball…  we got news that a guest at brunch Dec 11 had a positive covid test.  Given the potential exposure at The Carleton, we decided to take the precaution of closing until the new year to allow time for all staff to be tested (so far, all negative) and a deep clean of the premises, just in case.  Ticketholders have been notified, have been uniformly understanding and supportive, and will receive full refunds. ***

On their own, Dave Gunning and JP Cormier are gifted players and songwriters, together they are dynamite. It’s with great pleasure that The Carleton welcomes them back to live, in person, performance on Sunday, December 19th for a season-appropriate barn-burner. Show time is 7 PM and tickets are $50 + HST.
