Burger Bash 2024!

The Coast’s Burger Bash strikes again!  Here’s a sneak peek at The Carleton’s HFX-MEX burger.

Atlantic beef patty seared to perfection and served with a classic Cotija cheese. A refreshing pico de gallo will balance the richness of our spicy and sour Tajín crema, and the shredded lettuce will bring in the crunch factor to bring this burger to a whole new level ($15). Pair with famous Carleton frites or side salad ($7) and quench your thirst with a cold Garrison on tap ($7). $1 from every burger sold, every side sold, and every brew sold goes to Feed Nova Scotia so a full meal deal means we contribute $3 to this worthy cause!

Front page news!

As if the JUNOs epic kickoff party with Jim Cuddy, Sam Polley, Devin Cuddy, Jenn Grant, Adam Baldwin, Jill Barber, Rose Cousins, Brad & Quinn Dalgarno, Julian Taylor, and Damhnait Doyle and kickass Halifax all-star band Serge Samson, Ryan Stanley, and Jordan Murphy wasn’t exciting enough… our very own Mike Campbell joined the fun for his first out-of-hospital jaunt in almost 3 months! And yes, he did walk up on stage under his own steam to introduce the show!

Thanks to John Demont and The Chronicle Herald for sharing Mike’s story.

Thank you!

The Carleton and The Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia are so appreciative of your moral and financial support as Team Carleton presented Fleetwood Mac at BMO’s A Different Stage of Mind: The Grand Finale last Thursday February 29.

Our fund raising efforts contributed $65,600 to the event’s total of $260,560 as we stepped waaaaaay out of our comfort zone behind the scenes and into the on-stage spotlight to raise critical funds for community mental health initiatives across Nova Scotia.

L to R Back Row: Shruti, Finn, Harry, Imogen, Layla, Morgan. Front Row: Dustin, Megan, Maddy, Chloe. Not shown: Jon (piano), Allan (bass), Mitch (guitar), Ted (drums).
