Cast members of the international smash play Come From Away – Newfoundland’s The Rowdymen – bring their fabulous Christmas show back to The Carleton for a second date on Monday, December 1st. Show time is 7 PM and tickets, while they last, are $30 + HST.
GEORGE MASSWOHL (Lead Vocals) is an award winning actor and singer from St. Catharines, ON. A veteran of multiple seasons with the Stratford, Shaw, and Charlottetown Festivals, he has appeared on stages across North America, touring with Broadway shows, working in most of Canada’s regional theatres, and touring with baritone trio BRAVŪRA. For 3 years, George starred as Gander, NL Mayor Claude Elliott in the Canadian company of “Come From Away” in Toronto.
Originally from St. John’s, Newfoundland, GERRY FINN (Guitar/Vocals) has spent the last 30 years touring the world playing music. He is the recipient of numerous awards including multiple gold and platinum album awards both domestically and internationally, a Socan #1 award, three Juno Award nominations with one win. Gerry has toured, recorded and shared the stage with a long list of acts including Burton Cummings, Killer Dwarfs, David Usher, Brian Byrne (I Mother Earth), The Carpet Frogs, Rock Star Live to name a few.
A 20+ year musician, CHRIS KIRBA – Bodhran, Acoustic Guitar, Vocals – has been with the Tartan Terrors for over a decade now. He shares his time and talents with another band, Eclectic Revival, which has helped turn him into the performer he is today. He brings to the stage his guitar, bodhran, singing, and his tough outer shell. Don’t be fooled by the resting b—- face – he’s actually a nice guy!
