Toronto-based Canadian punk-folk pioneer, Eugene Ripper, brings his unique brand of acoustic punk/folk/garage/blues/twisted country & rock ‘n’ roll to The Carleton on Friday, January 9th in celebration of the release of his new vinyl single, Again & Again (only available at the show). Live music gets underway at 8 PM and admission is FREE!

After cutting his rock and roll teeth as a founding guitarist in first wave Canadian surfpunk garage rockers Stark Naked & The Fleshtones, Eugene Ripper launched a solo career that continues to this day featuring a mash up of punk, folk, country, blues and rock n roll. From fiery acoustic punk-folk, blues-infused rock ‘n’ roll to dark lyrical and beat-driven spoken word, Ripper wraps it all up in a songwriter stance and DIY punk ethos.
