Donavan Cyr, 25, was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He grew up watching his father, Jon Cyr, perform across the Maritimes, which planted an early seed for music. Three years ago, during a navy deployment, his father gifted him a guitar in hopes he’d find some time to learn.
