Internationally known broadcaster, interviewer, writer, consultant, blogger and speaker Alan Cross returns to The Carleton for an intimate evening of free-wheeling insights into the often impenetrable business of music in our world on Wednesday, November 4th. Show time is 7 PM and tickets are $30 + HST. Alan is also happy to take questions and we know there will be questions!
In his 40+ years in the broadcasting and music business, Alan Cross has interviewed the biggest names in rock and is also known as a musicologist and documentarian through programs like The Ongoing History of New Music. He’s currently providing content consulting for 102.1 the Edge and Q107 in Toronto.
Outside of radio, Alan’s resume includes five books, hundreds of public speaking engagements, and a national music column for Global News. He’s also constantly engaged in voicework, researching, writing, and consulting for commercials, TV, movies, documentaries, and corporate video.
Another major project was The Science of Rock’n’Roll, a travelling museum exhibit that toured science centres across North America.
Alan is the host of the true crime podcast Uncharted: Crime and Mayhem in the Music Industry. He also attends music conferences and lectures at schools and events all over the world.
