Hailing from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Newbridge delivers a powerful blend of Americana, folk, and roots rock shaped by Maritime grit and Nashville muscle. The band unites Canadian music veterans Keith Maddison (Maddison Avenue), Glen Nicholson (In-Flight Safety), Jeff Mosher (The Mellotones, Matt Andersen), Warren Robert (Myles Goodwyn, Pogey), and Nashville-based producer/multi-instrumentalist Robbie Crowell (Sturgill Simpson, Deer Tick, Midland, Matt Mays).

The band recorded their debut album at Nashville’s legendary Creative Workshop Studio, co-produced by Crowell, tapping into the same room that helped define generations of American roots music. Drawing on influences like The Band, Tom Petty, Van Morrison, and Stan Rogers, their sound blends folk and country foundations with a bluesy rock edge and soaring harmonies.

They’ve quickly built momentum, earning a Music Nova Scotia Americana nomination, signing a sync publishing deal with Rough Trade NYC, and securing national placements including Hockey Night in Canada, Hockey Day in Canada, and Toronto Blue Jays broadcasts on Sportsnet. Onstage, Newbridge brings a road-tested energy that matches the sweep of their recordings.
