Vancouver’s Brass Camel is so good, Mike Campbell sprung himself from the Halifax Rehab Centre to attend their first Halifax show in 2024. Now armed with a new album – Camel – we’re excited to say they’ll be back at The Carleton on Sunday, May 24th! It’s an early show, starting at 7 PM (so you won’t have to stay up late) and tickets are only $20 + HST to see one of the best bands in the country.

Brass Camel is a Vancouver-based rock band formed in 2017, blending funk, rock, prog and art rock, often likened to a “funky Rush.” Led by guitarist/vocalist Daniel James Sveinson, the quintet has released albums Brass (2022) and Camel (2025), played 180+ shows, and is known for high-energy, technically proficient performances.
