HIRTLE‘s brand of country and country rock stands apart from today’s polished Nashville sound, favouring emotional weight and lived-in storytelling. Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the four-piece band blends raw lyricism with driving guitars and dynamic arrangements, creating songs that feel both intimate and anthemic.
Formed in the early 2020s, HIRTLE built a sound rooted in honesty and resilience. Fronted by a quadriplegic lead singer, the band offers a rare perspective shaped by perseverance, vulnerability, and real-life experience—woven naturally into their music with authenticity and depth.
Influenced by the grit of Chris Stapleton, the modern edge of Nate Smith, and the Everyman appeal of Luke Combs, they balance hard-hitting country-rock energy with stripped-down reflection. Their songwriting moves through love, loss, determination, and quiet triumph, prioritizing connection and proving that authentic, human stories still resonate in modern country.
The Ryan Harvey Band has spent the past year delivering a high-energy, professional mix of traditional and modern country music. Fronted by Ryan Harvey on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, the band brings together seasoned musicians who share a passion for great songs, tight harmonies, and entertaining live performances.
The band features Justin Heisler on bass and harmony vocals, Tyler Daniels on drums and harmony vocals, Jackson Meisner on lead guitar, and Lee Millet on electric guitar. Whether performing crowd-favourite country hits or original music, the Ryan Harvey Band is committed to putting on an engaging show that keeps audiences singing, dancing, and coming back for more.
The band continues to build momentum across Atlantic Canada, performing at festivals, fairs, and venues throughout the region. Most recently, the Ryan Harvey Band was selected to open for Canadian hip-hop icon Classified at Rock The Rink in Windsor, Nova Scotia on August 1, further showcasing the band’s growing reputation as one of the region’s exciting emerging live acts. Whether on a festival stage, at a community event, or in a packed venue, the Ryan Harvey Band delivers an energetic and memorable country music experience for audiences of all ages.
