Ex Canadian special forces member turned country music star, Dallas Alexander – along with special guest Cameron Nickerson – takes advantage of a keynote speaking engagement in town to make his public Halifax début at The Carleton with a rare, intimate acoustic performance on Tuesday, May 5th. Show time is 7 PM and tickets are $25 + HST.

Dallas is a former elite sniper with JTF2 in the Canadian Armed Forces, bringing a powerful depth of lived experience to both his music and storytelling. With only limited seats available, this evening blends honesty, perspective, and connection in a setting that feels personal and real.

With over 3.3 million streams and a Top 10 SiriusXM Top of the Country single, Dallas is quickly becoming one of Canada’s most compelling voices in country music.

Dallas Alexander is an Alberta raised, Nashville-based country artist blending Red Dirt grit with Outlaw Country edge. Known for his raw, honest songwriting and three chords and the truth style, Dallas connects with real life stories that resonate deeply with audiences.

The upcoming show features Dallas delivering an authentic country performance that is bold, engaging, and built for a live crowd. A former Canadian special operations  sniper, Dallas served on an elite team that holds the world record for the longest confirmed precision shot. That same focus now fuels his music career.

His breakout single Can’t Blame My Bloodline has surpassed 1.6 million streams, and his recent release 7 Words reached the Top 10 on SiriusXM Top of the Country.

Cameron Nickerson – Described as “Good, classic long-haul truck drivin’ music“, Cameron Nickerson draws inspiration from lived experiences at his century-old camp, rooted in small town Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. Recently CCMA (Canadian Country Music Association) nominated for Innovative Campaign of the Year, Nickerson’s relentless pursuit of truth in songwriting has positioned him as a rising force in the Americana space. Following the success of his sophomore and debut country records, this country boy is diving into his folk inspired roots, by cuttin’ fresh bluegrass on his third full length record, The Wagon.
