Come see alt-pop artist Bethany Reid as she celebrates the release of her debut EP, You Alone.  She is joined by a full band as well as featured special guests ADINA and Ethan Tyler Band.  For one night only, Reid invites you into an immersive space to be steeped in sound and story, as she explores what it takes to heal and find meaning after dark times.  Don’t miss out on Bethany’s most powerful performance yet at The Carleton on Friday, August 7th. Bethany Reid is an alt-pop artist based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, whose music explores not the situations we find ourselves in, but what it feels like to live through them. Combining technically precise vocals with raw intimacy, intricate production and experimental sensibilities, Reid builds her sonic world with artistic partner Richard Fry through a process rooted in trust and mutual connection. Her debut EP, You Alone, follows the journey from being defined by what happened to you, to deciding what happens next; learning to take responsibility for repairing your life, even if you did not break it.
