As many of you now know, Elyse Aeryn was recently involved in a very serious motorcycle accident, suffering many broken bones and requiring multiple surgeries. Thankfully, it is expected that eventually she will fully recover, but that road will be long and difficult and she’ll need all the help and support we can give her. To stay true to her vision of three of Canada’s brightest up-and-coming singer-songwriters in her Coast2Coast show, local powerhouse Roxy Mercier (from Roxy & The Underground Soul Sound) has stepped in to join Maddisun & Angela Saini so the show can go on as intended: an intimate night of songs and stories at The Carleton on Thursday, September 25th. Show time is 7:30 PM and tickets are $25 + HST.

Roxy Mercier — Halifax, Nova Scotia
As front person for the award-winning soul/funk band The Underground Soul Sound, Roxy is a charismatic performer with a voice so powerful it has to be heard to be believed. Also an accomplished songwriter, she is one of the brightest lights in our Halifax musical firmament.

Angela Saini — Toronto, Ontario
Angela Saini sweeps people away with instantly-memorable, toe-tapping country folk-pop infused with storyteller sing-alongs about courage and finding joy in surprising places. A 2020 Independent Music Award Finalist for “Best Alt Country” and 2017 Toronto Independent Music Award winner, she uplifts and inspires audiences with songs about second chances and empowering others.
