Seasoned musician Greg Carroll celebrates the release of his new album, Writing On The Wall – along with special guests  Lisa Richard & Warren Robert – with a show at The Carleton on Thursday, February 26th. Live music gets underway at 7:30 PM and tickets are $25 + HST

Greg Carroll is an accomplished musician, singer, songwriter and member of the Qalipu Mi’kmaq band. Greg earned a B.A. in Music (Jazz Studies) from St. Francis Xavier University, studying under renowned bassist Skip Beckwith. A versatile performer, Greg has toured and recorded as a bassist with noted artists including Amos Garrett and Chad Brownlee, and with his own band, Black Mountain Whiskey Rebellion, which garnered recognition in Rolling Stone magazine in 2018.  Greg’s new album, Writing on the Wall, highlights his skill as a songwriter, reflecting the depth of experience gained from decades in the industry.

Lisa Richard is a powerhouse singer-songwriter from Halifax whose soul-stirring vocals blend country, folk, roots and pop. She’s shared stages with Vince Gill, performed internationally, and earned acclaim for heartfelt songs like Whiskey Over me and Uniforms (Promises Kept), making her a rising voice in Canadian music.
