Insanely talented locals Hillsburn return to The Carleton hot on the heels of the release of their debut album – The Battle Years – on Friday, August 12th. Show time is 7 PM and tickets are only $15.

For our money, Hillsburn is one of the most exciting band to emerge out of Nova Scotia in a lot of years. Barely on anyone’s radar this time last year, a surprising top ten finish in CBC’s Searchlight contest was followed by a sold out Carleton show last spring and then an opening night sell-out at the 2015 Halifax Urban Folk Festival. The band just blew an industry crowd away at Music Nova Scotia’s Tiki Lounge stage at Toronto’s Rivoli during CMW in May. We cannot recommend this show enough!
