Formed in 2006, The Woodhouse is a group of long-time friends who came together to play shows in their home province of Nova Scotia each December. They have created their own “little big band” to knock audiences out with unique arrangements of jazz and holiday classics, receiving regular rotation on CBC Radio and JazzFM. Their debut album, Home For Christmas, was nominated for 2015 Jazz Recording of the Year by Music Nova Scotia. Paying homage to the golden era of jazz with a new modern twist, the album featuring special guests including Canadian jazz legend Don Thompson, and South Shore vocalist Jennah Barry. This year they are excited to be joined by special guest Barbra Lica.
