Halifax’s hottest cabaret series – Broadway Brunch – is back at The Carleton on Saturday, April 25th with a surprise ‘Takeover’ Edition! Award-winning vocalist, music director, and honorary Nova Scotian Chris Tsujiuchi (aka “Tsuj”) will be taking over the Bway Brunch stage to sing George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Harold Arlen, and more! Featuring a live band and delicious brunch, this show is one you don’t want to miss!  Broadway and Brunch … who could ask for anything more!? 

Doors open at 12 noon for brunch and beverages with show time at 1 PM and tickets are $30 + HST.

Chris Tsujiuchi‘s musical direction credits include The Wizard of Oz (Neptune Theatre), A Strange Loop (Musical Stage/Soulpepper/Crows/TO Live), Mamma Mia! (Highland Arts Theatre/Savoy Theatre), Escape to Margaritaville (Theatre Calgary), Into the Woods (Talk is Free Theatre / Winter Garden Theatre), The Last Five Years (YRG Productions), Onegin (Musical Stage Company/National Arts Centre/Arts Club Western Canada Tour), Any Dream Will Do (Angelwalk Theatre & Theatre Collingwood) and bare (Canadian Premiere/WatersEdge Productions).  Chris has worked as an accompanist and teacher at Sheridan College, TMU, Randolph Academy, and George Brown College. He can be seen performing in Asian Riffing Trio (aka ART) and his own “Chris-terical” series of Cabarets.
