DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND…

There’s no doubt that Charlie A’Court has one of the best soul/blues voices in the business and he’s also an astonishingly good guitarist. His Colour Me Gone album is coming up on 15 years since its release and to mark the occasion, Charlie will revisit that album in its entirety – along with a bunch of other songs from his excellent repertoire – in a 2nd special acoustic full band show at The Carleton on Tuesday, November 14th. Show time is 7:30 PM and tickets are $20 advanced or $25 at the door. This’ll be a good one, folks!

5x ECMA winner and 8x Music Nova Scotia winner, roots/blues songwriter Charlie A’Court returns to deliver his signature brand of Canadian soul. Celebrating the 15th anniversary of Charlie’s debut album, Color Me Gone, A’Court will perform the entire album (along with songs that inspired A’Court’s style) with his acoustic ensemble featuring Kev Corbett on bass and Serkan Suer on drums and Chris Kirby on piano.

Released in fall of 2002, Color Me Gone made its debut and A’Court swept the awards at the 2003 Music Nova Scotia Awards and was nominated for New Artist of the Year and won Best Blues Recording at the 2003 ECMAs. The lead single, You’ve Got A Friend In Me, was immediately picked up in heavy rotation across Atlantic Canada and well-supported at radio across Canada.
